The Bottlehouse Brewery Company (website here) is a local Cleveland brewery. There are 2 locations: Cleveland Heights and Lakewood. The brewery started in 2012 and opened its meadery in 2014. The original location is in Cleveland Heights and the Lakewood location opened in 2016. Their unique drinks have interesting combinations of local products and are aged in barrels. Their on tap drink menu have a variety of different beers and meads. The Lakewood location hours are Monday-Thursday from 4 pm-12 am, Friday from 4 pm-2 am, and Saturday from 2 pm -2 am. The Cleveland Heights Location has similar hours, but they are open on Sunday from 2 pm-10 pm. Trivia is also held at both Bottlehouse locations.
Bella and I visited the Lakewood Location with The Bar League CLE. The Lakewood location used to be Sullivan’s and it still has Sullivan’s printed on the windows for the doors and on a mirror behind the bar. The style of the bar has an old bar feel with lots of wood and stone. Before going, I called to ask about the pet policy. I was told that “dogs are always allowed on the patio” and “dogs are allowed inside depending on their temperament”. Since Bella is fairly well behaved, I had no problems from the workers with her being inside. I did check out the patio but no one was out there due to Trivia being inside and the weather. No bowls or treats are provided so make sure to bring your own! Most of the tables are big and long so you can enough your time with many friends at one table. At the Lakewood location, they have have many barrels with meads aging. There are 2 arcade games as well: South Park pinball and Frogger. In conclusion, this new location for Bottlehouse is nice and having dogs being allowed inside is a definite bonus! Another location to take your dog when the weather outside is not so nice!
