Dog Friendly Events in CLE: Maize Autumn at the Flats

Maize Autumn at the Flats festival was originally suppose to be earlier in the month but it was rescheduled to the weather. It was finally held on October 21-23rd down at the Flats East Bank. It was held  by the Cleveland Scene Magazine. They tend to have many of their events at the Flats East Bank and they are always dog friendly for the outdoor events! There were so many options of stuff to do at the Maize. There was birdhouse making, t-shirt tie dye, pumpkin painting, video games, face painting, a few vendors to shop from, mural painting, music, food, and drinks.

We went to the Maize festival on Sunday October 23rd. We watched the Browns game while decorating pumpkins. I made my pumpkin with a colorful verison of the Dog Life in CLE paw logo. There were lots of cool decorated pumpkins, along with many that were painted for the Cleveland Indians. It was free to decorate your pumpkin and take home, which was such a steal! The paint however was very cheap and it didn’t make it home without paint chipping off. We browsed the selection of art by The Art Box, which had a lot of Cleveland themed art. We also admired the work put into the community mural! We saw a couple other dogs while we were there. Bella always enjoys these outdoor events. I loved the fall themed festival in the city!
