Lakewood Farmers Market
The Lakewood Farmers Market (website here) is a small farmers market in downtown Lakewood area that runs every Saturday from 10am-1pm during June 25-October 8. It is walking distance from my place, so Bella and I decided to check it out this past weekend. Vendors included for this date was Evie’s Bowtique, Trendi Paws, Ohio City Pasta, Hapi Fresh, White Family Farm, Frazier Cakes, Little Lakewood Pasta, May’s Produce, Vegetable Compound, Honeyman’s Honey, Tupperware, Scentsational Soaps, and Table & Spice. Music entertainment was provided by In2ActiveDuo.
Not the biggest farmer’s market but it had a little of everything you would normally see at a farmer’s market. It is not open for very long as well. But it is every Saturday so if you miss it one week, there is always next week. The vendors also rotate weeks so it should be a little different every time. It is something to stop by to when you are out for a walk or heading to some of the food places downtown Lakewood for lunch.
Trendi Paws is a local pet shop here in Cleveland. Of course I had to buy Bella something from there. They had harnesses, dog treats, toys, and dog beer. Yes, I did say dog beer! I’ve heard about it but I haven’t seen it anywhere until the Lakewood Farmers Market! Bowser Beer is a non-alcoholic beverage made just for dogs! I bought a bottle of their Beefy Brown Ale. I also bought Bella a dog toy that mimics a Corona bottle with lime!
